ENGLAND VS WEST INDIES 2ND TEST BETTING TIPS
The bookmakers are favouring a draw after the disaster in Jamaica that saw Andrew Strauss' England go out for 51 and Kevin Pietersen walk for a mere 1. England will be going into full-on disaster mode if they don't pull off a convincing win in this test. Much will be expected of several underperforming players and we are expecting to see some tweaks to the lineup that competed last week. Owais Shah is likely going to take the place of the misfiring Ian Bell. Alastair Cook is expected to appear, but he will be under pressure despite the vice captaincy having batted absolutely deplorably in both innings of the last test. England will be expecting to face the spin attack this time courtesy of Sulieman Benn and they will hopefully be much better prepared. I expect the pitch conditions to be more in England's favour than the previous test and hopefully we will be able to make an early breakthrough is we choose to field first, which I think could be in the cards for Strauss considering the overhead conditions. Shivnarine Chanderpaul is the outright favourite for top match runscorer (5/1) while he is a point behind Kevin Pietersen (7/1) for man of the match. Andrew Flintoff is the favourite English player to take the most wickets at 11/4. Stuart Broad, who took a five-for last test is listed at 7/2 alongside left-arm seamer Ryan Sidebottom. James Anderson is expected to get the call before Harmison and is listed at 9/2. Underperforming spinner Monty Panesar is listed at 5/1 alongside Graeme Swann. I think if England are to have any chance at a result this summer, we'll need a convincing performance in this test to get the momentum going on again. I am backing England to win the test on the final day at 12/5.
