ENGLAND VS WEST INDIES 4TH TEST BETTING TIPS
Andrew Strauss' England are in definite need of a test match win to get themselves back into their West Indies tour. If they plan on taking at least some momentum back to England for the return home tour, then they absolutely need a result this Thursday. After failing to dismiss the final West Indies batsman (courtesy of a foolish decision to bat to 500 and not enforce the follow-on) England literally snatched a draw from the jaws of victory. There are a number of exciting betting markets available over at William Hill. They have some of the deepest and most thorough betting markets in the world on test cricket so you have lots of opportunities to capitalize. One of the stand-out markets for me is the "To Score a 50" market where you'll find Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen and Shivnarine Chanderpaul all paying out above evens at 11/10. Ramnaresh Sarwan is also at 6/5 and Andrew Strauss pays 11/8. Steve Harmison is expected to be the dominant English bowler in this test match with 11/4 odds that he'll take the most wickets. After a stellar performance in the last test, Stuart Broad can be backed at 3/1 and is definitely worth a punt. Graeme Swann had an excellent session last time out and is available at 7/2 alongside James Anderson. The West Indies had trouble coping with his spin on a deteriorating pitch, so I expect Swann to get more overs than he did in the last few matches. In terms of outright betting, England are the favourites at 6/4 with the draw listed at 8/5. You can back the West Indies at 9/4, but I feel as though England are due and will triumph in this test match.
