There is a lot to like about the Saturday match-ups and we’ve got a really appealing clash to kick off the league as Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur. The Red Devils come into the match with a 4/6 price tag for the outright victory. You’ll find the draw trading at a 3/1 margin while Spurs are available at a lengthy 9/2 to get the victory at Old Trafford.
On opening days in past seasons United have been particularly vulnerable and now word is emerging that David De Gea will not start the match since his mind is obviously in a different place right now according to his manager (Madrid, namely). This one could be a fascinating affair and it’s a legitimate match to kick off the league - expect some real fireworks in this one as nobody really knows what to expect from this iteration of Manchester United.
Newly promoted Bournemouth take on Aston Villa and they come in as the outright favourites with a 21/20 margin currently available. You’ll find the draw sitting at a 23/10 margin while the Villains (who were just able to retain their Premier League status last season) are trading at a 3/1 margin.
Bournemouth certainly have a real feel good factor to them and there are a lot of neutral supporters who would like little more than to see them retain their Premier League status and become a regular fixture in the world’s best sporting league.
