Things kick off on Saturday with Newcastle playing host to Chelsea and this one could wind up being a fairly easy outing for the blue side of London as the bookmakers have them trading as the ½ favourites for the victory here. The Magpies can be backed as high as a 6/1 listing and the draw trades around a 7/2 price tag with several top bookmakers.
Aston Villa have been one of the surprise stories of the season and they will be looking to add another three points to their haul this time around with a victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. They come into the match with a decent price of 13/10 for the victory and, if they are able to replicate their recent form, they should be able to walk away from this one with a victory.
Brighton are sitting in lower mid-table and this match would help them move further away from the relegation zone if they were able to nick the away victory. Their price of 11/5 shows they aren’t out of it and they could certainly muster up a good performance here, though they will need to strike first if they want to give Villa a game.
Spurs host Manchester City in the highest profile contest of the day and it’s matches like this one that Spurs absolutely need to win if they are actually going to lift the trophy at the end of the season. They look like they really could be set to capitalize on Liverpool and City not playing to potential so far.
