Burnley can be backed at a 10/3 price tag right now and that’s probably a bit longer than some would expect so this might be one where punters opt for the underdog contender. The draw is an interesting 13/5 and a very likely outcome if things go right for Burnley.

Liverpool will be looking for a win against West Brom and they are considered to be the biggest favourites of the day with a slim 1/3 price being floated right now. West Brom are no pushover side, however, and Brendan Rodgers men will be looking to kill this one off early and then stay organized as the match goes on. Mario Balotelli hasn’t been quite the prolific signing that many expected him to be, but stepping into Luis Suarez’s shoes was never going to be an easy proposition.

Look for West Brom at a 15/2 margin here and the draw trading at a 4/1 listing. Liverpool, ultimately, should win this match and they will be a key part of many different accumulator wagers for the mid-day fixtures on Saturday. If West Brom happen to get the first goal then things could get really interesting really quickly here.

Sunderland vs Stoke may not seem like the most exciting fixture but it looks like the most wide-open contest of the day with the hosts considered the outright favourites with an 11/8 margin against the Potters 19/10 listing. The draw is a 23/10 price tag and looks like it could be a real possibility, but you reckon that there will be more than a few who think that Stoke City will roll on here.

Swansea will be taking on Newcastle at home and they are very likely to get the result here according to the bookmakers - something that will lump even more pressure on Pardew. You can back the Swans at a 17/20 margin while the Magpies are a lengthy 3/1 shot here. You know that there will be plenty of eyeballs fixed on that race and it could really wind up going south real quickly for Newcastle. Since the fixture will be held away from St James’ Park then the pressure may not be quite as high on Pardew but you will have to assume that a sizeable group could make their way to Wales just to make a big point.

Aston Villa will be taking on Manchester City and the hosts are trading at an 11/2 margin while the visitors are a competitively-priced 1/2 margin. The draw is at 31/10 and many will be assuming City should walk this. Expect that price to be popular in accumulators. The City faithful will be expecting a victory here but Aston Villa have shown so far this season that they can tangle with good teams and get results - being at home should give them some additional help but City’s quality is more than likely to shine through given the actual result.
