English Premier League Betting Preview PT 2

Another newly promoted team is in action on Saturday as Everton play host to Watford and the visitors seem to be up against it here with a 4/1 margin while the draw can be backed at a 14/5 listing. The Toffees are an 8/11 shout and it would be something if they were to drop points in the opening match of the year. It would certainly set a bit of a negative tone going forward but it’s not entirely surprising as they were relatively underwhelming last year when compared to other seasons when they were nipping at the heels of the Big 4.

Leicester City, a side who were just able to stay in the league last year are trading at an even money price tag to get the better of fellow strugglers Sunderland. This one could either be really exciting or nearly unwatchable and you can back the Black Cats at a relatively enticing 16/5 while the draw sits at a 12/5 margin.

Norwich are back for another round of Premier League action and they’re a 13/8 favourite to get the better of Crystal Palace on Saturday. The Eagles vs The Canaries always looks like a lopsided match-up but it’s Palace who come in as the significant underdogs here and you’ll find them trading at a 19/10 margin while the draw can be backed at a fairly solid 11/5 margin.

The final match of the Saturday is Chelsea vs Swansea and the Blues come into the match as one of the biggest favourites of the entire weekend with the bookmakers listing them at a 2/5 price tag against the Welsh club’s hefty 9/1 betting payout at the moment.

The draw is a very solid 7/2 margin and you can expect this one to maybe have a few more layers than you might initially think and there is every chance Chelsea could drop points here. If they start with a disappointing Radamel Falcao who continues to be as wasteful as he was at Manchester United (and Swansea have an answer for Diego Costa) then this one could wind up a 0-0 draw.
