English Premier League Betting Preview PT 2
- By A.J. Ryder on August 9, 2018 16:32 GMTMost bookmakers have United floated around a 6/1 or 7/1 margin to win the English Premier League but there are a few books out there offering up outsized prices for the Red Devils to win the league.
Manager Jose Mourinho has been under fire for a while and United have not made many summer signings despite having a very strong core to their team. There is a lot to like about their chances - in particular with World Cup winner Paul Pogba coming into the season after a stellar tournament this summer.
Romelu Lukaku is also going to be a major factor and if he can hit the ground running in partnership with Alexis Sanchez then you’ll definitely find them punching it out alongside City in their quest to win the league.
Chelsea are also in the mix but trade up into the double digits in order to grab another English Premier League title victory. It’s going to be a tough go for them with a new manager but there is every chance that they can put together some strong performances with the good selection of players that they have at their disposal.
Other notables include the likes of Spurs - who have notably not made any summer signings at all and seem to be very reliant on the axis of Harry Kane and Delle Alli in order to achieve an outright result here. A league win for Spurs would be massive considering that they have been knocking on the door in the last few seasons.
And then there is Arsenal who trade at a price tag well into the 20s in order to secure the league and it would be fascinating to see them get a result despite the absence of Arsene Wenger for the first time in recent memory.
