English Premier League Betting Preview PT 2

Wolves play host to Arsenal in a contest that really seems wide open from a betting perspective as Arsenal have been very underwhelming so far this season and Wolves are right smack in the middle of a rich vein of form. The bookmakers don’t see either team as odds-on favourites and you reckon there will be a few punters who opt to back Wolves here - who trade at a 13/5 price tag.

Arsenal are available around 26/19 but if they go a goal down you really don’t fancy them pegging Wolves back do you? The draw at 12/5 might prove the most popular result.

Manchester United have failed to win their last two league games and they are already starting to drop down from the top of the table as Manchester City appear to be coming back into form. This is a must-win situation as they face Southampton and the bookmakers are backing them for the win with a slim 8/15 price here. The south coasters are a 32/5 shot and there might be a few who reckon they will dispose of United at a great price.

The final contest of the day is Newcastle against Crystal Palace and, judging from the odds, this one appears to be anyone’s guess. Newcastle are a 31/16 shout for the win while Palace can be backed at 31/18, making them a slim favourite here. Look for the draw at 12/5.

All things considered, punters will likely be backing United to win, Sheffield United to win and Wolves to win with a Newcastle Crystal Palace draw making a very tasty accumulator ticket.
