ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE BETTING TIPS FOR FEBRUARY 21 AND 22
Another exciting weekend of Premier League action is upon us. Things are definitely heating up going into the final third of the season and it is shaping up to be something of a two-horse race between Manchester United and Liverpool. Irish bookmakers Paddy Power have already paid out on United taking the domestic treble. That's confidence, but when you think about it- is there a deeper and more versatile team that has ever played in the Premier League? If United can hold off Blackburn for 88 minutes, Edwin Van Der Sar effectively becomes the best keeper in the history of modern European football as he will have gone the longest without conceding a goal. The race for PFA Player of the year is looking like it's going to come down to Nemanja Vidic and Ryan Giggs. On merit and statistics, I would have to give it to Vidic, but I think that many football observers will opt for the sentimental vote and give it to Giggsy, who has seriously redefined the term "Indian summer".Aston Villa vs Chelsea Chelsea should win this one, but this is a tough opening fixture for Guus Hiddink. I'm going out on a limb and saying Gabby Agbonlahor to score in the last ten minutes in a 2-1 victory for Villa. 10/1 @ Paddy Power. Arsenal vs Sunderland Arsenal should beat Sunderland, but they aren't the side that they used to be. I'm backing the Gunners to win this one 2-1 which pays 7/1 @ Paddy Power. Bolton vs West HamWest Ham are in good form and Mark Lawrenson is retarded to think that Bolton will take this one. It will be a draw at best for Wanderers, but I can see the Hammers frustrating them. I'm liking a 1-1 draw which pays 9/2 @ Paddy Power. Middlesboro vs Wigan Middlesboro will score, but I can't see their defence coping with Wigan. 2-1 to the Latics pays 9/1 @ Paddy Power. Stoke vs Portsmouth Pompey have what it takes to beat Stoke, but I can see a 1-1 draw being the result. 9/2 as things get worse down south. Manchester United vs Blackburn This is one of United's toughest run-ins, and I am confident that they won't concede. Vidic and Ferdinand will have studied Blackburn's strikers and they will know what's coming. 2-0 to United pays 4/1. If a goal is scored in the first 10 minutes, Paddy is doing their standard refund!Fulham vs West Brom This one won't be that exciting. 1-0 to the Cottagers in a bit of a bore. 5/1 @ Paddy Power. Liverpool vs Man City This is an absolute must-win game for the Reds. Further dropped points mean they are less likely to win the title and with United rolling, there is no margin for error. Mark Hughes men will know this and I fancy a 2-2 draw here paying out at 14/1 @ Paddy Power. Newcastle vs Everton The Toffees are on a roll right now and they will look to thump Newcastle. I'm backing Everton to win this one and to win big. 3-0 to David Moyes men pays 22/1 @ Paddy Power. Hull vs Spurs Harry Redknapp looks as though he's completely given up on the UEFA Cup and is focused exclusively on Premier League survival. Hull are looking for a win to keep them from sliding down any further and I expect Hull to get a result here. If they can contain Robbie Keane, they are in business. 2-1 to Hull City pays 9/1 @ Paddy Power.
