English Premier League Betting Tips Part 1

We’ve got another slate of top-notch Premier League fixtures ahead of us on Saturday and Sunday, while the specter of the League Cup (or whatever they call it now) finally looking set to give Swansea a major piece of silverware at a Wembley Final. Who would have seen that two years ago?

The biggest clash of the weekend looks to be Manchester City vs Chelsea and this is a Chelsea away fixture - which means they will probably have a good chance at actually winning the match. City are heavily-fancied for that one by the bookmakers and this presents a very good betting opportunity as you usually don’t get to back Chelsea at a price this high. 

Starting on Saturday, the early fixture is Fulham vs Stoke and it looks like the Cottagers get the edge over the Potters here with a 23/20 price tag against an 11/4. The draw can be backed at 2/1 and that’s probably going to be a popular option here. 

Arsenal are not looking in great form at the moment but they have a relatively straightforward match-up against Aston Villa. You’ll find the Villains at a lengthy 10/1 to get the win here while Arsenal are priced at 1/3. You can only imagine the pressure on Arsene Wenger if they drop any points here. After being embarrassed by Bayern Munich in mid-week they need a big victory to quiet things down. 

Norwich vs Everton looks to be setting up nicely for the Toffes with a 23/20 price. The Canaries have cooled off a lot in the past few months and they are precariously close to getting dragged into the relegation mire. They are 13/5 for the victory here but they will struggle to match up against David Moyes’ men if they play their best.
