English Premier League Betting Tips Pt 1
- By A.J. Now managing Cardiff City, the scorer of the most famous goal in United history leads his challengers against a United side who sit seventh in the league right now after enduring the worst start in recent history under new manager David Moyes.

It’s obvious that Moyes will be wanting Mata to make an instant impact and it would really spark some excitement in the seats at Old Trafford to see another high profile player make his United debut and get on the scoresheet. Cardiff aren’t the easiest side to be facing off against in the grand scheme of things but you would expect United to get three points from this one.
A loss here, even a draw, would be a real disaster for David Moyes.
With Rooney and Van Persie still out, it makes even more sense that Juan Mata will be handed a start, likely up front with Danny Welbeck - though a Mata-Januzaj pairing up front could be extremely dynamic if it clicks.
Cardiff sit at the absolute bottom - deadlocked on 18 points with Sunderland and West Ham - Fulham sit at 19 with Crystal Palace at 20. Things are extremely tight at the bottom of the Premier League and, though they probably aren’t expecting to win this one, what better time for Cardiff to be playing Manchester United? Teams are looking a lot less scared at Old Trafford these days and it’s worth wondering if the Norwegian has a few tricks up his sleeve.
The bookmakers have Manchester United priced as the very short 1.25 favourites with Cardiff trading at an 11.0 price. The draw is a 6.0 shot and that’s a wager that will probably interest a few neutral fans - particularly if United struggle to make chances early in the match.
