English Premier League Betting Tips Pt 1

Now that we’ve had the Champions League fixtures unfold in mid-week it’s time to prepare for the upcoming English Premier League fixtures over the weekend and there is lots to look forward to. We’ve got some really competitive matches set to unfold and the big fixture appears to be the Manchester City vs Chelsea clash - a match-up that very well might have implications for the title race despite us not actually even being into October yet.

Much will be made of Manchester United’s excellent performance last weekend when they, effectively, looked like Manchester United once again. The fans seem to have gotten behind Angel Di Maria and he really appears to be a new talisman at Old Trafford. 

Radamel Falcao got a run out and nearly celebrated his performance with a goal but he was unable to find the net during the 20 minutes or so he actually spent on the pitch. Juan Mata also redeemed himself extremely well and he’ll likely play himself into the side even more as Di Maria’s ability forces defenders to stick close to him - opening things up for players like Mata and their direct running. 

United face off against Leicester City on Sunday in the early fixture and they are actually trading at a pretty enticing price tag of 1.65 to get the better of the foxes in this match. Leicester can be backed at a 5.25 listing and they will need to conjure up some real magic to get the better of United if they wind up playing anything like they did last weekend. The real workhorse was the central midfield, which for the first time in about a decade actually looks pretty good for United with Herrera and Daley Blind forming a formidable midfield tandem. 

The draw trades at 3.75 but only the victory will do here for United and you can expect them to notch a few goals here as well.
