English Premier League Betting Update
- By A.J. Ryder on October 10, 2017 16:37 GMTNow that we are through the latest set of World Cup Qualifying fixtures we can all turn our attention back to the English Premier League. There is still a whole lot to play for going forward and you can bank on a number of punters keenly favouring the Manchester clubs as we go forward.
There is a lot to like about all the action and excitement in the English Premier League so far this year - unless, of course, your name is Crystal Palace.
Looking at the betting markets right now, you’ll notice that Manchester City can be backed at a price of around 4/6 right now to conquer the English Premier League once again. There isn’t a whole heck of a lot of value there and you have to admit that their manager has never actually won the league before despite winning, basically, everything else you can win.
Manchester United are really looking good this year so far and they are now firmly back in contention to win the English Premier League but the bookmakers have made them a clear second favourite - when they had been right up there alongside City a couple of weeks ago.
Look for Manchester United at a price as high as a 7/2 margin at 888sports with most bookmakers floating them around a 10/3 listing.
The odds then take a pretty big jump as we get closer to Chelsea who now can be backed at a price of 11/1. Spurs are trading at a hefty 18/1 listing as well and then you have both Arsenal and Liverpool priced at 40/1.
