English Premier League Betting Update

It looks like Manchester City have things virtually sown up in the English Premier League as they are a very short price of as low as 1/33 to secure the title in May at the end of the season. It appears as though virtually nobody can catch them barring some type of talismanic collapse with Manchester United the only real possibility and they’re still quite a ways off.

It’s worth noting that Pep Guardiola’s side are still competing on all fronts and they always seem to be able to find a goal when they legitimately need one. They are in the middle of a 16 match win streak as well in the English Premier League so you have to respect that too.

With virtually nobody looking likely to catch the side from the Emirates Stadium, the only real possibilities appear to be Manchester United and Chelsea - you’ll find United trading at a best price of around 33/1 at the time of this writing.

The majority of bookmakers seem to think that United are more reasonably priced around a 20/1 margin but that’s simply a bit too short for many observers who think that City might slip up at some point in time.

Chelsea have been a bit off this season, losing matches that they would have won in the past with relative ease. Now you’ll find them trading at a best price of about 80/1 with a few top bookmakers while most have them floated around a 50/1 or 66/1 price tag.

Liverpool are anywhere between 100/1 all the way up to 250/1 while Arsenal are as high as 500/1 to achieve English Premier League glory - but you reckon they’ll do better to even secure a Champions League position next season.
