English Premier League Betting Update PT 1

There is plenty still to play for in the English Premier League this season despite Liverpool appearing to have things sewn up at the top now that they are a full 14 points clear of their closest rivals in the table. Manchester City and Leicester have been deadlocked in a shootout for the past couple of weeks with just a couple of points separating the two sides.

The real interesting battle developing is happening in fourth place with a number of teams - some very established Champions League sides - and others who are normally battling it out in lower mid-table making a strong run here after the holiday fixtures. 

With the transfer window open at this point, it definitely adds a few interesting variables to this race and the Champions League positions could wind up being one of the most fascinating bets of the year. 

As it currently stands, Liverpool are available at a very slim 1/25 to win the English Premier League with a few books looking likely to pay out on them in the coming weeks. Manchester City are not considered entirely out of it with a price of around 20/1 at this point to wind up somehow pipping Liverpool to the title. 

Leicester can be backed around 300/1 to pull off another miracle but nobody looks as though they are going to be getting the better of Jurgen Klopp’s side this time around. Liverpool are playing with a swagger we haven’t seen before - not even in the days of Steven Gerrard.
