They went behind against Swansea and were able to claw it back but not many were truly surprised when Swansea went 1-0 up.

Yaya Toure scored at the weekend but hasn’t really looked to be the energetic midfield anchorman that he has been over the past few seasons. Sergio Aguero really looks like the only genuine top 10 player in this side and Joe Hart hasn’t really improved either - perhaps still a bit shaken up from his confidence crisis last year.
That brings us to Manchester United - who may have very well defined their season with their 2-1 victory against a very disappointing Arsenal side at the Emirates this past weekend. It was probably the most makeshift United defence of the modern era with Chris Smalling starting alongside Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair with Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw lining up alongside them
Shaw was forced off with injury halfway through the first half and was replaced by Ashley Young - who had his best match in a United shirt for quite some time. United managed to go up 1-0 on Arsenal without actually even having a shot on target. Valencia’s deflected strike made all the difference and United were able to add another late on the break as Angel Di Maria set up Rooney to offer a cool chip home after Arsenal over-committed at the other end.
It should have been another one but Di Maria cut it wide. Things got very interesting when Olivier Giroux grabbed a late strike and we had to wait it out through nearly 10 minutes of injury time.
