English Premier League Betting Update PT 2

Things are definitely picking up at the bottom of the table as well as it looks as though we have a fascinating relegation race already underway amongst a variety of teams who have had underwhelming starts to the season. Both Wolves and Watford had solid seasons last year but both appear to be struggling in the early stages of the competition this year.

The relegation dogfight appears to be affecting teams all the way up to 13th place with a significant amount of sides sitting on 5 points and looking just a loss or two away from the bottom of the table. 

15th place Sheffield United appear to be the favourite for relegation but it is by no means a sure thing with their price now above odds-on for the drop. You’ll find them at a best price of around 11/10 with several top bookmakers. Newcastle now also appear to be genuine contenders for the drop after a tough start to the season and they can be backed around a 13/8 price tag for relegation at this point in the Premier League season. 

Aston Villa are right in the mix for the drop too and the newly-promoted side were always pegged to struggle this season. They hover around a 15/8 price tag for the drop and remain in the third spot for relegation according to the bookmakers this time around. 

Norwich are a 9/4 shout for the drop but they will likely be able to progress going forward off their victory against Manchester City at the weekend. Watford can be backed at a 5/2 price while Burnley are trading at 11/4.
