Taking a look at the outright betting odds, you’ll see that the Scousers are sitting at a 4/6 best price to win the English Premier League and that has been a big shift in the last month as their unbeaten start to the season continues to trod on. There are a few bookmakers going as low as 8/15 on Liverpool to scoop the elusive title at the end of the season.
Manchester City can be backed at a best price of around 29/20 and that will be a source of dismay for the side that were significantly favoured to repeat their English Premier League heroics once again this season - trading at odds-on to secure the title just a month or two ago.
Liverpool have certainly been able to stymy the progress of Manchester City and the two teams are the only sides trading at plausible prices to win the English Premier League title this season. Chelsea are the next best-priced team and you’ll find them available around a price anywhere between 66/1 and 100/1.
If you can find a bookmaker willing to offer an each-way bet to finish in the top two positions then Chelsea could be an interesting outside tip here if you reckon that City won’t be able to muster up their usual late season charge.
Arsenal are available anywhere between a 75/1 and 125/1 price tag to secure the title and they look a good shout to finish in the top four but appear to be some way off the pace in regards to actually lifting the trophy - it’s been an awfully long time since Arsenal won the league.
