English Premier League Betting Update PT 2

It’s not completely out of the question that City could drop 10 points and United pick them all up between now and the end of the season but the fact remains that it’s unlikely to happen.

Leicester are trading at 100/1 to win the English Premier League and, while stranger things have happened, they are going to be competing for a Champions League spot - and actually look in pole position to secure one at this stage. Chelsea are priced at 500/1 to win an unlikely English Premier League victory.
The bookmakers consider City to be a certainty to be playing in the Champions League next season while Manchester United are a very slim ⅙ shout for European football as well. Leicester City are trading around a ⅖ (and even 2/7) price tag to finish in the top four with most major bookmakers.
The club they think is most likely to finish fourth is Chelsea and they have a new manager enjoying some success and momentum after the abrupt departure of Frank Lampard. Chelsea are priced around a ⅘ listing to qualify for next year’s Champions League and there will probably be more than a few punters who think that’s the logical outcome.
However, there are some really nice prices out there on an assortment of other teams who could wind up pipping Chelsea or even Leciester and United from a Champions League place. Liverpool are listed around 8/11 but are 21/22 with several bookmakers to manage a fourth place finish.
West Ham are a really interesting outside bet here with a 9/2 price for them to qualify for next year’s Champions League. If they continue to rattle off good results and Liverpool can’t pull themselves out of their doldrums then it could wind up being a tidy piece of business.
