ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE CORRECT-SCORE PREDICTIONS FOR DECEMBER 6 AND 7
It's been quite an interesting week in the English Premier League and after last Sunday's excitement, this weekend will have a lot to live up to. I'm confident that we'll see some quality football on Saturday and Sunday with the Everton/Villa match looking particularly enticing. THE SCENEManchester United must be in dreamland as they will effectively be facing a manager-less Sunderland after Black Cats manager (and former United legend) Roy Keane vacated his position at the Stadium of Light. Chelsea are up against a resurgent Bolton Wanderers who will be buoyed by their emphatic victory last weekend. Liverpool have just found out that they'll be without Fernando Torres' services for the next month or so and they will need to grind out results if they are to keep their position at the top of the table. Lucky for them, they have a Blackburn side that are in their worst position in years. Hull City will be looking to get things back on track against Middlesbrough on Satuday- the Tigers are really in need of a victory if they are to stay above mid-table mediocrity. PREDICTIONSArsenal v Wigan, 15:00: Van Persie is in good form and many of their top players got a rest in mid-week. If Bentdner isn't starting, I'd say give this one to the Arse 2-0. 5/1 @ Paddy Power!Blackburn v Liverpool, 15:00: Steven Gerrard will need to perform and Liverpool need Robbie Keane to step up and prove his worth. Blackburn are desperate for a win. 1-1 draw. 11/2 @ Paddy Power!Bolton v Chelsea, 15:00: I think this may be a trickier fixture than Chelsea think. I'm confident that they'll win, but it will require a late late goal. 3-2 to Roman's Army. 25/1 @ Paddy Power!Fulham v Man City, 12:45: I am tempted to back City in this one, but Fulham have been frustrating opponents all season. 1-1. 11/2 @ Paddy Power!Hull v Middlesbrough, 15:00: I think Hull City will get back on track here. 2-1 to the Tigers. 8/1 @ Paddy Power!Man Utd v Sunderland, 17:30: The best time all year to face Sunderland, believe it or not. I am backing Tevez for a big performance in this match. 4-0 Man United. 8/1 @ Paddy Power!Newcastle v Stoke, 15:00: Newcastle should be too much for Stoke, but I have a feeling that the Potters will give them more than they bargained for. 2-1 to Stoke. 14/1 @ Paddy Power!SUNDAYEverton v Aston Villa, 16:00: This one should be a corker. Villa are in good form and Everton need to get things organized and start winning more games. 2-2. 12/1 @ Paddy Power!West Brom v Portsmouth, 15:00: Portsmouth should effectively dismantle West Brom here. 3-0 to Pompey. 25/1 @ Paddy Power!Paddy Power has the best odds on the Premiership!
