There is a lot to like about how things are shaping up and many are thinking that this next couple of weeks could be looked at as an interesting sequel following the barn-burner finish to last season.

This time around, Manchester City are trading as the outright odds-on favourites once again to secure the league and you’ll find them available around a ½ margin for the victory.
Liverpool are the second favourites with a solid price tag of around 5/2 should they pull off that long sought-after English Premier League title. The odds indicate that it looks like a real dogfight between those two as the odds then take a considerable jump to around 12/1 for Spurs to pull off a victory.
Tottenham have been knocking on the door for the past few years but look just a step below the top two in terms of quality. They haven’t really reinforced over the summer break and there are question marks about the fitness of some key players following the off-season period.
One of the really big races this year is going to be the top four finish betting market since we can pretty much assume that City and Liverpool will occupy the top two positions. This leaves about four sides who will be vying for those other two spots and it appears as though the bookmakers genuinely fancy both Spurs and Manchester United to retain those two coveted Champions League positions at the end of the season.
