English Premier League Latest Outrights PT 1
- By A.J. Ryder on July 20, 2015 21:32 GMTThe English Premier League is kicking off in less than a month’s time and the signings are starting to come thick and fast during the build-up to the season. We can expect a lot of different contenders here and there is a general sense that next season’s iteration of the Premier League will be one of the most competitive yet with Chelsea, Manchester City - and especially Manchester United - reinforcing their line-ups during the off-season to make a bigger splash.

There is a lot to like about many of the teams sitting in the top four and only Arsenal fans have a bit to complain about with Petr Cech being the only real significant piece of business that the Gunners have completed in the off-season.
While Alexis Sanchez is only going to get better as things go on, they do need extra players - more defensive solidity and more firepower up front.
Manchester City look to be on the verge of signing a few maquee names but also have just taken in Fabien Delph in a transfer that is likely not going to work out for anybody involved with the former Aston Villa captain now likely to ride the pine permanently at Manchester City after alienating virtually all of the club’s entire fanbase by declaring that he didn’t want to move to City and then ultimately doing it anyway when they flashed a bunch of money in his general direction.
Chelsea remain the betting favourites to retain the English Premier League and the bookmakers have them floated at a 6/5 price to do so. Jose Mourinho may not play the flashiest stuff with his sides but they certainly know how to grind out championships and the bookmakers seem very confident that they have what it takes to get the job done again here.
