English Premier League Latest Saturday Odds PT 1
- By A.J. Ryder on December 4, 2015 18:00 GMTThere is another slate of English Premier League fixtures set to unfold this weekend and it looks like we could see a few more interesting happenings in the league after Manchester United were unable to capitalize against Leicester City last week - who now sit co-top of the table with Manchester City ahead of them by a vastly superior goal difference.
City actually get the league action underway this Saturday as they are away to Stoke City and coming in as the significant 8/13 favourite to get the job done and secure their status as league leaders. The away fixture to Stoke is never an enviable match-up for any team and City have had this be their banana skin on more than one occasion so there may be some who are tempted by the 17/4 price tag currently being floated on the Potters.
Look for the draw at a 14/5 margin but keep in mind that Aguero is now back and City are likely to be back in the goals more than they have been in recent weeks.
Arsenal are coming in as the most significant favourites of the entire day in their face-off against Sunderland. You’ll find the Gunners available at a slim 1/4 price tag to get the outright result at home against the beleaguered Black Cats. The northern-based side trade at a 12/1 margin - again the highest payout of the day.
While it certainly may not be a walk in the park for Arsenal, now without one of their key players after picking up an injury a few days ago, they are strong favourites to achieve the desired result.
Manchester United face a crunch clash with West Ham and they will want to get all three points out of this one since dropping what could have been an important victory last week against Leicester City. West Ham have been another key side out-performing expectations and Slaven Bilic’s men will be looking to take another big scalp as they face off against the Red Devils.
