English Premier League Relegation Betting
- By A.J. Ryder on August 13, 2018 13:25 GMTNow that the first weekend of play is finished in the English Premier League it's time to start looking at how things might shape up towards the end of the season in regards to the teams that may drop down back into the championship following the 38 games.
We saw some really good performances over the weekend and it looks as though The Usual Suspects are going to be dominating the English Premier League again this season with a shootout evolve in between four or five teams in the top positions - if they're looking to be able to depose Manchester city, that is.
Examining the relegation odds will show you that several of the sides who were able to suffer significant losses over the weekend may not be viewed as sides that are fancy for relegation. It's going to be interesting to see how it all shapes up and there are usually a few surprises in store in regards to who ultimately wants up dropping down to the championship.
There are two sides that are currently odds on to be relegated at the end of the season and one of them is newly-promoted Cardiff in the other appears to be Huddersfield who were well beaten by Chelsea over the weekend and will look to struggle over the rest of the season unless they can either bring in some new signings or tighten things up at the back.
Relegation wagering is always a little bit tricky particularly when you get to Ward's those last few teams where it seems to come down to the final week or two of play to determine relegation.
It appears as though Brighton Watford and Burnley are the ones that will be battling it out towards the end of April and early May of 2019.
