ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE TIPS FOR SATURDAY AUGUST 21

We've got some first-rate fixtures set to kick-off today and there is plenty of cash to be made for the savvy, albeit lucky, punter. There's some real toss-ups going into todays action and I think that we'll see more than a few draws. 
All the action starts at 15:00, save a 17:15 fixture between Wigan and Chelsea, so if you're running an accumulator today you don't have to worry about waiting a long time for a payout. 
Arsenal vs Blackpool appears to be the biggest lock of the weekend and I think the Gunners should take this, unless Blackpool can notch the first goal. That would make things especially interesting and I reckon a few punters will have a bash on Blackpool, who can be backed at a 14/1 price tag. 
Birmingham vs Blackburn is interesting enough but I think that one could wind up as a draw. Brum are trading at 2.2 while Rovers are available at 3.3 and that's the same price as the draw. That's the play there, although both sides may feel they can win this one. 
Everton vs Wolves looks simple, but Mick McCarthy's side are known to have a few tricks up their sleeves. Wolves are a tidy 6/1 with Ladbrokes and Everton are big favourites here with a 1/2 price tag. A draw wouldn't be entirely unexpected as sometimes David Moyes side need a few games to get going. 
Stoke City vs Spurs is going to be a fascinating affair and Harry Redknapp will need a good performance from his strikers, who really need to start taking their chances. Spurs are available at a decent price if you think they can succeed in the home of the long-throw. Spurs are at 2.25 while Stoke trade at 3.2. 
West Brom vs Sunderland is an interesting fixture and both will think they can win this one. West Brom are actually the favourites for this one and the Black Cats can be backed at 3.3. I think the 3.2 draw is the play here. 
West Ham vs Bolton could easily wind up being a rather dour affair but this could prove to be a solid fixture if the stars align. The Hammers trade at 2.2 while Bolton and the draw are backed at 3.25. You're on your own with that one. 
Chelsea are heavy favourites to demolish Wigan Athletic, who were absolutely pounded by Premier League new-boys Blackpool in the opening Premier League fixture. Wigan are listed at 12.0 while Chelsea trade at 1.25. You know where this one is going.
