English Premier League Top Four Finish Betting

This is easily one of the most wide open English Premier League seasons in a very long time and there are a number of clubs who could reasonably win it. We have seen some clubs make very big statements earlier in the season (Chelsea and Spurs chief among them) and then wind up falling into a rough patch and seemingly dooming their ability to actually win the league.

For many of them a top four finish is the best possible outcome but there are so many clubs competing for the Champions League positions that it could wind up going down to the very last day. 

There appears to be three spots out of the four that are already assumed with Manchester City considered to be a virtual certainty at a 1/200 price tag with several bookmakers right now. Liverpool are available at a 1/12 price and that’s indicative of their recent bad run of losing or drawing matches they really should have won. 

Manchester United are no longer top of the table but they are still expected to finish in the top four with a price of around 2/7 - meaning there is still a bit of value there if you fancy OGS’ men to be able to finish the job this season. 

It’s after that where things get really interesting in the race for the fourth assumed Champions League spot. Right now, Leicester City appear to be in pole position with a price of around 5/4 with a few books going as high as a 6/4 margin for Leicester to finish in the top four. Chelsea are still in the mix with a decent price of around 7/4 at the top end.

Spurs have drifted out to a 2/1 margin but remain in striking distance if they can start getting a decent run of results once again. The odds then take a significant jump to 10/1 for Arsenal to somehow pull off a top four finish.
