English Premier League Top Goalscorer Odds
- By A.J. The top goalscorer betting could get really interesting this year with so many new faces and the potential for some of the smaller clubs to make a much bigger impression at the top of the table.

If there is one thing tha can help a smaller club bring about a potential run at the European places, it's a striker coming out of nowhere to bag 20 or 25 goals on the season.
While plenty of the usual suspects remain in the mix for the Premier League Golden Boot this coming year, there are a few new faces (or at least faces that are new at their respective clubs) who will potentially have something to say about it. Look for some of these contenders to show why there is a lot of added value in waiting a little ways into the season before locking in substantial money on top goalscorer wagers.
As it currently stands, punters will find Sergio Aguero as the unsurprising favourite to grab the most Premier League goals this season and the bookmakers have him listed around 11/4 to actually get the job done. Following Aguero we have a fair amount of support for Diego Costa and his odds of pulling this off are enhanced dramatically if he can keep himself from picking up too many suspensions or being substituted because of early red cards.
Punters will find Costa trading at a 10/1 margin right now while it's just a slight step back to 12/1 for the likes of Christian Benteke who has shifted over to Liverpool but really seems to be dealing with the same problems that plagued him at Aston Villa – namely a complete and utter lack of service. This was summed up again when the Reds could only muster up a very tame 1-1 draw with Norwich on Sunday this week.
Manchester United's new signing Anthony Martial looks to be the real deal and there is a definite chance that he could wind up being a genuine world beater and you'll see him trading at a 14/1 margin to win the Premier League Golden Boot after helping himself to a brace on his first start for Manchester United. Bafetimi Gomis is also in the mix but he's out at a 16/1 margin.
