It is very much a case of the usual suspects and it’s going to be a very fascinating shoot-out between the two top selections but there is a very impressive group of challengers just on the periphery there and a lot of things could be undone pretty quickly if either of the top selections has a lengthy injury this year. 

As it currently stands, the bookmakers seem to be confident in Segrio Aguero being able to repeat as the Premier League top goalscorer and they’ve got him trading at a competitive price for the most part with few books willing to agree on what his odds really should be. 

He is top priced 3/1 with some bookmakers while others list him at 11/4 or even a 5/2 price. Aguero has both the winning mentality and the overall skill in front of goal to pull this off again and one of the more interesting things is that he consistently demonstrates the ability to score in front of lesser sides and big teams as well. 

His chief challenger is Chelsea’s Diego Costa and he was able to take the Premier League by storm last year and only a bit of time on the sidelines for injuries caused him to not wind up as the league’s top goalscorer.

He definitely has more of a tendency to get suspended too as he plays with so many intensity that it can sometimes work against him.
