English Premier League Top Goalscorer Odds PT 2
- By A.J. It’s worth remembering that these odds are likely to remain pretty consistent at least until the pre-season fixtures start getting played so jumping on the bet right now is probably not the best idea - at least until we get a chance to see what type of form the top selections really look like as things unfold further.

Harry Kane was definitely the big English story of the Premier League and he was able to rack up a huge amount of goals. This fact was exacerbated by him being able to score the vast bulk of these strikes in the Premier League itself. The young English sensation is now worth a significant amount of money in terms of a potential transfer but it looks very likely that he will remain at Spurs next year as well.
It could be trickier for Kane now that other sides know how to play against him but he simply has that strikers knack for popping up in the right places at the right times and being able to round off moves with a lot of confidence. If you really think that he’s going to build on that excellent breakout season and really challenge for the Premier League Golden Boot, you’re looking at a very enticing price as well with bookmakers listing him at a very solid 11/1 or even floating him as high as a 14/1 margin for the top goalscorer title.
Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge was able to put together a really good run of form two years ago when he was playing in tandem with Luis Suarez but it ultimately went pair shaped as soon as the Uruguayan player left for the sunny shores of Spain as he shipped off to Real Madrid. There was a lot of expectation placed on the young English player this last season as Brendan Rodgers seemed confident that he could lead the line and bring the goals to the Kop faithful at Liverpool.
