English Premier League Weekend Action PT 2
- By A.J. Arsenal and Liverpool both face extremely long odds to even come close to winning the league but a top four place is not out of the question if they can go on a solid, sustained run for a good portion of the second half of the season.

In the Sunday grandslam fixture, we’ve got Arsenal just getting the edge from the bookmakers despite them being the away side - true testament to the problems facing Brendan Rodgers side at the moment. You’ll find them priced at around 2.50 and that listing is likely to move around a bit during the build-up to the match on Sunday - particularly with another fixture still to play prior to that one.
The Reds can be backed at a 2.80 price for the outright victory and it would be coming at exactly the right time for Brendan Rodgers who is facing an increasing amount of pressure and the general likelihood that he will probably be sacked if the team do not place in the European spots at the end of the 2014/15 English Premier League season. You’ll find the draw at a 3.4 price.
Chelsea travel to Stoke on Monday for one of the toughest away fixtures that any team can play in the Premier League. Despite this, Chelsea’s great recent run of form means that their price tag is trading at 1.57 for the outright victory and the Potters can be backed at a 6.0 margin right now.
It will be interesting to see just how Stoke line themselves up for this contest as Mark Hughes men know that if they can stay organized and play their usual gritty style of football then it might be enough to get something of a result from the match. If the game is scoreless going into the second half then Stoke will have every chance but they need to keep their eyes peeled on Cesc Fabregas - who has rapidly emerged as the leagues best playmaker this season. The draw can also be backed at a 4.0 price and there might be a fair amount of fans (likely those of the Manchester clubs) who think that Chelsea might be able to drop some points in this big fixture on Monday.
