English Premier League Weekend Betting Preview PT 2

The action this weekend kicks off with Liverpool taking on Stoke City, who were relegated in 19th spot already so there isn’t a huge amount to play for here.

Liverpool were certainly still be hyped up after their epic 5-2 victory against AS Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday this week and it looks likely that they are going to be taking on either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich for a chance at Champions League glory for the first time since 2007 and that night in Istanbul a few years ago.

Brighton and Burnley face off and there isn’t a whole lot between the two sides there but the home side look to be the ones getting the edge from the bookmakers. There are certain matches, however, that appear to have draw written all over them and this appears to be one of those contests, at least on the absolute surface if you’re not a Brighton & Hove Albion fan.

Everton get the edge over Huddersfield in their contest at 3:00 pm on Saturday and these were both sides that looked doomed for the drop around Christmas time and they have been able to play themselves out of relegation problems so they both deserve kudos to be playing in a fixture at the end of April that doesn’t really mean a whole lot.

Everton get the slim edge here and it’s another one that could wind up becoming a bit of a tepid draw if things play out the way they look to be doing on paper so far at this point.
