English Premier League Weekend Betting Preview PT 3
- By A.J. Ryder on November 7, 2013 17:52 GMTSouthampton continue to outperform virtually all expectations as they sit sixth and look to stay in that portion of the league in through the end of the year so that they are challenging for a European place when things get down to business in April and May. They go into their match-up this weekend as the distinct favourites and you’ll find them priced at 1.57 against Hull City who have also outperformed expectations and now sit right smack in mid-table in tenth place.

The Tigers are a 6.5 shot if you fancy them while the draw might be the better option at 3.6 if you don’t expect the Southcoasters to run away with this one.
The most open game of the day appears to be West Ham vs Norwich where the Canaries are trading as the slim outright favourites with a price hovering around 2.4 compared to the Hammers 2.9. This one looks like it could be either 0-0 or 3-3 so the draw priced at 3.3 looks appealing enough.
Switching over to the Sunday fixtures, you’ll find Spurs are the significant favourites against Newcastle as they head into their match at a 1.5 margin. The Magpies are delivering at a terrific 6.5 price tag if you think they can get the better of Spurs and you reckon they just might have a shot here considering Tottenham just aren’t really scoring a whole lot of goals. An early strike could likely put Spurs on the backfoot and play to Newacastle’s strength.
Manchester City deliver a bit of value for money at a 1.4 price tag as they take on an away match against the underwhelming Sunderland. The Black Cats can be backed at a 7.5 margin and that’s not really the best indicator of their chances - especially when you look at how soundly City have beaten many other teams. Sunderland should probably be a bit higher than that and, even though it’s an away match, City’s price makes them a tempting addition to accumulator bets.
Swansea can be backed at a 1.83 price to take on Stoke CIty, who are trading at a 4.5 listing to get the job done. It’s hard not to want to back the Swans in fixtures like this and, if the match was being played at Stoke, you might want to fancy the Potters at a decent price. Swansea simply have the players and the technique that can produce results against nearly anybody. They look a tidy selection at 1.83.
