English Premier League Weekend Preview

We have one last weekend before we head into the extremely busy Christmas fixture list in the English Premier League and this is a time of year that often defines a lot of sides’ respective seasons. There is a lot of quality contests set to unfold over Saturday and Sunday and a few great betting opportunities look to be presenting themselves.

There’s no place better to wager on all the Boxing Day action than bet365, with a fantastic Open Account Offer available to new customers. Up to £100 in Bet Credits for new customers at bet365. Min deposit £5. Bet Credits available for use upon settlement of bets to value of qualifying deposit. Min odds, bet and payment method exclusions apply. Returns exclude Bet Credits stake. Time limits and T&Cs apply.

Everton and Arsenal get us off to a start on Saturday with new Gunners boss Mikel Arteta set to face an Everton side that also look to have a new manager emerging right around the corner. Duncan Ferguson will be in charge for this one and there isn’t a whole lot between the two sides with Everton appearing to just get the nod from the bookmakers with a price of around 13/10 against Arsenal’s 15/8.

Sheffield United can jump as high as fifth place if they are to get the better of Brighton this time but the host side are being backed for the win here with a 5/4 listing. Sheffield are an interesting 5/2 shot.

Manchester City take on Leicester in the final game on Saturday and that’s likely going to be one of the biggest contests of the weekend and one that could have a lasting effect on the top four. Leicester have been going from strength to strength lately and Manchester City have definitely not looked themselves in the past couple of weeks - dropping points where they definitely shouldn’t be.

You’ll find that City get the edge here though with a slim price of 4/11 for the win while Leicester - who are in as good a form as anyone - can be backed as high as 7/1. You reckon there will definitely be a few punters backing the side from the King Power Stadium.

On Sunday we have a pair of exciting contests with United coming in as the favourites to topple bottom side Watford (who have already gotten a result over United this year) while Spurs are getting the edge over Chelsea in the London Derby.
