English Premier Saturday League Betting Preview Pt 1

After a very interesting kick off to the English Premier League last weekend, one which saw Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United side bested by none other than Swansea, and it looks likely that we could see some classic match-ups here which might have some early season permutations as certain sides look to test out different formations with the transfer window still open for another few weeks.

As it stands right now, the Sunday fixtures appear to be quite exciting with Monday holding the promise of a tempting clash between title favourites Manchester City and top 4 contenders Liverpool. 

The early match sees Aston Villa face off against Newcastle and this one looks to be fairly even in the grand scheme of things. The bookmakers have the Villains priced at 2.40 to get the home victory against the Magpies who come in at 2.87 and might look an attractive bet to their fans for the outright victory. The draw here is also solid and trades at 3.40. 

The biggest favourite of the weekend is Chelsea who face Leicester City in their match-up at 3 pm and you’ll find them trading at 1.20. Many will probably be staying away from that outright price but it could be a popular selection for those looking to add a little juice to their acca’s. 

The Foxes can be backed at 13.0 to get what would be a massive confidence-boosting victory. The draw, which some might be willing to take a flutter on, is priced out at a 6.50 margin. 

Crystal Palace vs West Ham is another interesting match-up and the 2.40 on Palace will likely prove to be a popular wager as things do not look like they are in especially good shape at West Ham with question marks over how much longer Sam Allardyce has in charge with Tony Pulis now available.
