English Premiership Correct Score Predictions

Things look to be falling nicely into place for Manchester United as they continue to make up ground on their rivals and ensure that their games in hand bring in maximum points. With Rooney now out for a few short weeks, it looks like this could be Carlos Tevez's last chance to prove his worth (and it is considerable) to Sir Alex Ferguson. United have been relying on Nemanja Vidic and young Johnny Evans to keep things steely at the back and the two have formed an admirable partnership with Nemanja Vidic quickly securing his status as one of the top defenders on the planet. Should his form continue, he is my choice for PFA Player of the Year. Arsenal and Chelsea both play the promoted sides Hull City and Stoke. Many people think Chelsea will cruise to victory on Saturday, but I'm not convinced. Sure, they beat Southend 4-1 during the replay, but I think the problems there are deeper than many would think. Stoke will play the ugliest most frustrating football against Scolari's men and I'm backing them to get the draw that they're gunning for. I'm also convinced that Hull City will ask questions of Arsenal, and the team will be buoyed by their solid 1-0 victory over a full-strength Newcastle side. This is set to be an exciting weekend and Monday's game looks fascinating. At this point in the season, with United poised to go top if they pull off the victory against Bolton, a tricky tie like the Liverpool Derby will be exactly what Rafa Benitez's men didn't want. Blackburn vs Newcastle: A 1-1 draw pays 5/1 with Paddy Power. Bolton vs Man United: United will keep another clean sheet and walk out 2-0 winners. You'll be looking at 11/2 with Paddy Power.Chelsea vs Stoke: Stoke will park the bus in front of the Chelsea goal and walk out with their heads held high after a 0-0 scoreline. You'll be cashing in at 14/1 with Paddy Power.Man City vs Wigan Athletic: I think Wigan are in great form and if they can keep Robinho contained, they'll pull off a 2-1 win. You'll be making 11/1 with Paddy Power.Sunderland vs Aston Villa: Villa should roll over Ricky Sbraiga's Sunderland side, but Djibril Cisse may cause problems. Back Villa 2-1 whch pays 7/1 with Paddy Power.West Brom vs Middlesbrough: Boro should have what it takes to win here, but this may be a trickier tie than they originally suspected. 1-1 is the likeliest result here at 9/2 with Paddy Power.Hull City vs Arsenal: I think Hull will get back to where they need to be with this match and I think Arsenal are losing the plot a bit. Big upset here as Hull City at 2-0 pays a whopping 35/1 with Paddy Power. West Ham vs Fulham: A London Derby is always exciting and I think 1-1 will be a fair result. You'll be making 9/2 with Paddy Power.Tottenham vs Portsmouth: This is a tricky one for both teams, but I'm not convinced that Tony Adams can match Harry Redknapp in terms of strategy. Spurs will do just enough and walk away with a 2-1 win paying 13/2 with Paddy Power.Liverpool vs Everton: This is always a hotly-contested fixture and David Moyes men will be licking their chops. Pool will drop points in this 2-2 draw. You'll get paid out at 16/1 with Paddy Power.
