Euro 2016 Final Betting Tips PT 1
- By A.J. Ryder on July 8, 2016 18:39 GMTAfter a really exciting month of tournament action, Euro 2016 is winding down with the final fixture set to unfold this Sunday. There is a lot of action and excitement still to unfold and this match-up looks to be setting up like an absolute classic. The host nation France will be going in as the significant favourites but the Portuguese side have shown that they can pull off nearly anything – particularly when they have a front pairint of Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani – two players who can grab a goal from anywhere.
France deserve a lot of credit considering how they have grown into themselves as the tournament has progressed.
There is every chance that they were going to fold when they came up against really quality opposition since they started the tournament by squeaking out a few last minute victories.
Buoyed by their home supporters, the French team were able to sweep a number of clubs aside and the Germans were effectively dismantled by an excellent and organized team performance. Antoine Griezmann deserves a lot of credit for his compusure in front of goal but the victory over the Germans was a team victory by a side who were not able to achieve the bulk of the possession – but the team that certainly make it count the most.
Portugal had a few underwhelming performances in this tournament but they looked a few steps above Wales when they met up last time out. The Portuguese side were in very good form and stayed organized – looking impressive going forward and also pressing the ball carriers in a very effective manner.
