Things kick off this Friday with England taking on Lithuania in a fixture that everybody expects England to dominate in. The bookmakers certainly seem to agree and they’ve posted the English side at a very slim 1/8 price tag to get the result here against the travelling Lithuanians who can be backed at a lengthy 20/1 price. The draw sits at a 7/1 listing.
Virtually everybody will be anxiously watching Roy Hodgson’s line-up announcements with the assumption that Harry Kane is likely to start alongside Wayne Rooney as England’s exciting new striking sensation will be looking to get his sea legs in the international arena.
If you really think that England will run away with this one then you’re not alone as the bookmakers have priced the 4+ goal band at a slim 3/2 margin here with many expecting England to put Lithuania to the sword. If you do fancy the Lithuanians to make a game of it - or even to notch a late goal when England have more or less switched off - you can back England to win and both teams to score at an 11/4 price but that might seem a bit short to some.
The bookmakers still seem to favour between two or three goals (which trades at 11/4 for either selection) you can still notch some great prices on the higher total wagers such a 7 goals or more at a massive 18/1.
