Europa League Thursday Betting Tips

We've got a few interesting fixtures today in the Europa League and the better sides now have a much better portrait of who they're going to be facing once the 3rd place Champions League sides drop through the trapdoor into Europe's second tier tournament. Sides continue to jockey for position here and the vast majority of recognizable European clubs are expecting smooth progression here. A number of nearly unpronounceable names are still involved at this point but the likes of Inter Milan, Tottenham, and Liverpool are all getting the edge to win their matches tonight.

The early fixtures show Bordeaux odds-on to get the better of struggling Newcastle and they're 4/5 to get the result at home. Newcastle trade at 15/4 to get the win and it will really all be down to whether Demba Ba can inspire them up front and genuinely trouble the relatively solid Bordeaux defence.
Maritimo face off against Club Brugge and this one looks to be one of the more open fixtures of the day with an 8/5 price out there on Maritimo. The Belgian side can be backed at 17/10, which is a solid price, and the draw can be backed at 9/4. There's decent odds no matter who you fancy in this one but you reckon that it might all come down to who scores first.
Napoli is a 3/4 shot to get the result against PSV Eindhoven. The Dutch side trade at 10/3 and look pretty good value to at least give the Italians a bit of trouble here. Edinson Cavani is an ultra slim 2/5 for the anytime goal in this one and that gives you an idea of just how rampant a performance the bookmakers expect. Van Bommel's side are likely to be a bit better organized that you'd normally think and a 10/3 price looks pretty good, as does the 11/4 draw.
Liverpool are away to Udinese but are still 10/11 to get the win here. The side continues to gain confidence and they should be able to put together something of a performance. The host side are a 3/1 shot to get the victory while the draw trades at 5/2. It may be worth opting for Liverpool to win both halves – you can lock in 15/8 odds on that.
Luis Suarez is even money to get an anytime goal.
In the later fixtures, Inter Milan are a slim 4/11 against Neftchi Baku – they're available at a 7/1 price tag. Lyon are 2/7 to get the victory against Hapoel Ironi, while Spurs are also heavily-favoured to topple Panathinaikos and they're available at 2/5 to get the job done.
