EUROVISION 2010 ODDS FROM BWIN SHOW A DEAD-HEAT BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND GERMANY

Popular European bookmaker Bwin is bucking the Eurovision trend that has seen virtually all bookies listing Safura Alizadeh as the outright favourite. They are currently pricing Alizadeh and her German counterpart Lena Meyer-Landrut at odds of 3.75 to win the Eurovision competition.

From what the odds tell me, they still think that a last minute surprise could be in the cards. Bwin has listed a special betting market pitting Germany or Azerbaijan against the field. Both countries are also at 3.75 in this market but the "any other country in the field" option is priced at 1.7. This could be a very vulnerable market just before the competition starts and if you can time your bet properly you could wind up with some fantastic odds.
Bwin also considers Armenia to be solid contenders now, having cut Eva Rivas' price down to 5.0- that's about the lwest I've seen anywhere so far. Israel's Harel Skaat trades at a 10.0 price to win the competition and that is a bit more confidence than I've seen elsewhere.
Turkey is listed at 13.0 while Denmark is priced at 15.0. Greece is trading at 23.0 and you'll find Belgium alongside Iceland at 26.0. Romania trades at 31.0 while Ireland's odds to win Eurovision 2010 are priced at 34.0.
Azerbaijan, Germany and Armenia are the only countries listed at odds-on prices to finish in the top 4. You'll find them at 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6 respectively.
There is also head-to-head betting between countries and a few other match betting options geared around points totals. You can also lock in odds on which countries are going to give points to other countries- I think there's some great value to be had there.
