EUROVISION 2010 UP TO THE MINUTE ODDS AND BETTING TIPS
With the second semi final for Eurovision 2010 set to kick off in just a few hours, we haven’t seen a huge amount of movement in the betting markets today and I think that many punters are waiting to see the performance from Safura Alizadeh before they make substantial wagers on the outright result.
Despite the odds for today’s second semi final remaining more of less the same, we have seen some very interesting swings in the outright betting market over the past 24 hours.
Saufra Alizadeh’s odds to win Eurovision 2010 continue to drop and you’ll find the Azerbaijani songstress trading at a slim 7/4 price to win the competition. At this point last year, Alexander Rybak was already odds-on so it doesn’t look quite as clear cut as it did last year, although he was facing much stiffer competition from 2 or 3 other contenders whereas Safura only really has to deal with one main competitor.
Lena Meyer-Landrut of Germany is the clear second favourite to win Eurovision 2010 and you’ll find her price bouncing around a lot. She is trading at 4/1 right now and that’s a shade down from 9/2 yesterday.
Armenia has captured the third place favourites position from Israel. Eva Rivas is listed at an 8/1 price to win Eurovision 2010 and her price is a fair amount ahead of her closest competitors.
Safura Alizadeh, Lena Meyer-Landrut and Eva Rivas are the three current favourites to finish 1-2-3 in Eurovision betting.
Israel’s Hareld Skaat and Sweden’s Anna Bergendahl are both trading alongside each other at a 12/1 price while Turkey’s maGna can be backed at an 18/1 price.
