FA CUP FIFTH ROUND BETTING TIPS
The FA Cup continues this weekend with fifth round action intended to take everything down to the elite 8 in the competition. Manchester United can smell that quintuple starting to percolate and if they can get through the next round, they should be just fine. Derby have notched up a victory against a depleted Man U side already this season, but I think Manchester are in good form and will win by a considerable margin. Derby just lack quality and United ooze it from every orifice. Watford will fancy their chances against Chelsea, attempting to take advantage of the managerial mish-mash happening over there. Everton vs Aston Villa is my pick of the match-ups and I think this one could very well be a classic. The odds are excellent no matter what you're backing, so it should be a lucrative one all-around. Blackburn vs Coventry: I fancy big Sam's men to get the job done against Coventry. 2-0 to Blackburn with a little bit of Jason Roberts up in there. 2-0 pays 6/1 at Ladbrokes. Sheffield United vs Hull City: The Tigers are definitely the favourites, but I think the blades will consider this one a winnable fixture. Hull will be buoyed by last weekend's result and I expect them to satisfy with a 2-1 victory paying 9/1 with Ladbrokes. Swansea vs Fulham: Swansea have done well to get to this stage in the competition and this is probably the best time of the season to be facing off against the Cottagers. I predict a 0-0 draw paying 7/1 with Ladbrokes. Watford vs Chelsea: Guus Hiddink's men are a bit up-in-the-air at the moment and I think John Terry could be a bit tired after the midweek 90 minutes with England. Regardless, I think Chelsea will pull this one off in less than convincing fashion. 1-0 to the Chavs pays 6/1 with Ladbrokes. West Ham vs Middlesbrough: The Hammers played well against United last week and will fancy their chances against Boro. The Teesiders are in freefall at the moment and Gareth Southgate is in the relegation mire. I will tip West Ham 2-0 which pays 6/1 with Ladbrokes. Derby vs Manchester United: United are the favourites here and a 3-0 margin isn't out of the question. With Wayne Rooney inching back to form and the squad depth really starting to show, I'm confident United will not concede against Derby. 4-0 to United pays 14/1 with Ladbrokes. Everton vs Aston Villa: This one could really go either way and I think they will battle it out to a swashbuckling 2-2 draw which pays 14/1 with Ladbrokes. Arsenal vs Cardiff: Cardiff are really long-shots here and I fancy this as a game where Arshavin can really put his stamp on the match. I'm backing the Gunners 2-1 which pays 7/1 with Ladbrokes.
