There are a number of tantalizing fixtures set to unfold on Saturday and some of the biggest ones feature the minnow sides like Yeovil and Kidderminster taking on top level Premier League competition. These are the stories that make the FA Cup such an exciting proposition and there are lots of interesting stories set to develop over the full day’s action on Saturday.

The bulk of the fixtures kick off at 3pm UK time, but we will have Bournemouth vs Liverpool to get things underway on the 12:45 kick-off. There is a lot to like about this fixture and it has a lot to do with the fact that Liverpool have had some epic FA Cup fixtures against lower-league opposition.

Few will forget the incredible fixture against Luton years ago when it wound up being a 5-3 thriller with the Reds coming from behind after being overtaken early. It’s also interesting to see Bournemouth being taken more seriously by the bookmakers than some of the other sides facing Premier League competition as they are trading at an 8.0 price now with most major bookmakers.

Brendan Rodgers side are available at a relatively slim 1.36 price tag that will likely see them get more plays in accumulators than outright wins. Expect it to take a large amount of betting volume as it is the first fixture of the day. It will be interesting to see where the odds move in the minutes building up to kick off. Anyone who sees this match-up as a potential banana skin for Liverpool may want to back the draw at 3.75.

The most evenly-matched fixture is Bolton vs Cardiff with the Welsh side getting the slimmest of edges from the bookmakers at a 2.62 listing. You’ll find Wanderers just a hairsbreath behind them at 2.7 for the outright win. Look for the draw at 3.3 - with a match-up this tight you reckon it could very well be a 0-0 bore or a 3-3 thriller.
