FIFA WORLD CLUB CUP: MANCHESTER UNITED VS GAMBA OSAKA BETTING TIPS

With the Manchester United players already en route to the land of sushi and overpriced beer you can buy from vending machines, the FIFA World Club Championship has frustrated many Premier League fans as a distraction, but is seen around the world as a gigantic money-spinner by bringing top quality football to the Pacific. Asia's unquenchable appetite for top-notch football should be satisfied by Manchester United's counter-attacking flair as they are expected to annihilate all competition and avoid a humiliating loss similar to the one Liverpool had as the last English representatives at this tournament. PACHUCA VS LDU QUITOThe action starts on Wednesday as Pachuca takes on LDU Quito in a match that nobody cares about. Pachuca are 11/10 against the Ecuadorians 21/10. There's some value here, but nobody knows squat about either of these teams so we'll likely give that one a miss. AL AHLY VS. ADELAIDE UNITEDAl Ahly, the perennial African team (yes it's technically Africa) are taking on Australis's Adelaide United and are the clear favourites with 10/11 being the current line. An Aussie upset can be backed at 5/2 and although Oz football has taken some big strides recently, I have to back the Arabs here. GAMBA OSAKA VS. MANCHESTER UNITEDGamba Osaka takes on Man United in the following fixture with United favoured heavily at 4/11. The Japanese can be backed at 7/1 for all those interested in lighting money on fire. Gamba aren't a terrible team, but they will be no match for the Red Devils and I'm backing United to win -1 at evens with 888sport. For good metaphorical value, I should be backing them on an Asian handicap bet, but 888 doesn't offer that. A number of different markets are available, and I'm especially interested in 888sport's generous odds on Scorecast bets. I'm taking Cristiano Ronaldo to score first with a United victory of 3-1. I'm getting 35/1 on that and those ain't bad odds. United players are also heavily backed to score a hat-trick with Cristiano Ronaldo listed at 33/1 with Rooney and Berbatov listed at a straight 40/1 each. RECOMMENDATIONS:The United players don't come up against such non-physical teams very often and they will dominate the proceedings. United to win 3-1: 10/1Cristiano Ronaldo to score first: 4/1Anderson to score his first United goal: 5/1 anytimeScorecast bet on Cristiano Ronaldo to score first and United to win 3-1: 35/1
