FLOYD MAYWEATHER VS JUAN-MANUEL MARQUEZ BETTING TIPS

While the fight is only scheduled to happen in mid-September, the betting markets have already started heating up for the widely-anticipated bout between Floyd "Money" Mayweather and Juan-Manuel Marquez. We all knew that the retirement for Mayweather after the Hatton fight was only a temporary thing, and he looks set to come back in style against the current WBA and WBO Lightweight World Champion. Needless to say, Mayweather comes in as a big favourite with his undefeated record on the line once again. Marquez has lost four times in his career and boasts 37 knockouts from 50 wins. Mayweather carries odds of 1.22 for the outright victory with Marquez sitting at 4.0. The draw pays out at 21.0. I'm expecting more betting markets to show up in the next while with method of victory betting set to be very interesting for this one. I anticipate a KO victory paying out at above evens. The round betting is already available and it's always interesting to take a look at what the bookies think will happen, specifically. Mayweather's odds range from 26.0 to 41.0. He is favoured to strike anywhere between rounds 5-11 where he sits at 26.0. He is 41.0 in the first round, 34.0 in the second and 29.0 in rounds 3 and 4. His odds rise to 34.0 in the 12th round. Floyd Mayweather is 1.5 to win by decision. Juan Manuel-Marquez is going to pay out big if he can pull off the unlikely KO victory. His round-betting price ranges from 67.0 up to 81.0 for the first and last rounds. He is 5.0 to take this one via decision. I'm extremely confident in Mayweather's chances and I think that his connections have set up a solid match with Marquez. This one will not be decided in the first few rounds and I'm also quite confident that this one will be a total slugfest come round 7 or so. I don't see this one going the distance and I really like Mayweather between rounds 7 and 10. The value isn't quite as high as I'd normally like, but I think he's good value to make it 40 straight victories- and to do it in style, no less.
