FREIDA PINTO AND JENNIFER ANISTON FAVOURITES FOR NEXT BOND GIRL

Popular Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has recently released a new betting market offering up odds on who will be the female star of the next James Bond movie. While many people have tipped Freida Pinto as the next-in-line, it appears as though a few surprise names are starting to creep into the equation. The next female star is expected to be announced on Monday, March 30th. There is plenty of value in this market with Pinto herself listed at the shortest odds at 3/1. Former Friends' star and fan of mediocre musicians Jennifer Aniston comes in just behind her at 4/1. Clearly, from the early betting at least, Jennifer Aniston is the punters favourite and her odds are expected to shorten. Other names in the running include Megan Fox at 6/1, Britain's Keira Knightley at 8/1 and Sienna Miller weighs in at 10/1. After these three, the odds start to get longer, but the names tend to get bigger. We've got outside odds on Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba who both sit at 10/1. Scarlett Johansson is listed alongside Angelina Jolie at 12/1. Eva Longoria (who might be a good outside bet) comes in at the same price as Jessica Biel- 14/1. Beyonce (who would be more likely to record the opening song for the film) is available at 16/1 while Charlize Theron (another solid outside bet) sits at 20/1. Cheryl Cole is at 40/1 while Page 3 fixture and all-around joke Jordan comes in at a lengthy 250/1. Amy Winehouse is also available to be backed at 250/1, but we all know James Bond (even the Daniel Craig James Bond) does have some standards.
