GREECE VS ARGENTINA PREDICTIONS AND 2010 WORLD CUP BETTING TIPS

Greece really has it all to do today as only a victory against high-flying Argentina will see them through to the round of 16 for sure. Should Nigeria beat the South Koreans, a draw would likely put Greece through but nothing other than a win sees them get to progress.

Argentina have put in some very effective performances so far and, while they aren't 100% for qualification just yet, they should cruise through to the next round unscathed.
Many expect Diego Maradona to play some of his backup players in this fixture and that's likely why you'll see them priced at 1.5 to win the match- I think that's a very solid price pre-match.
Greece can be backed at a 6.5 margin to win and that's not a very left-field price so the bookmakers obviously believe that it's do-able for the Hellas. The draw can be backed at 4.0 and I think that's worth a shot if an Argentine team-sheet reveals a B side.
It goes without saying that Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuain are the leading contenders to score a goal in this match. You'll find Messi priced at 1.61 to score a goal at any point in the match while Higuain is available at a 1.8 listing. Diego Milito is trading at 2.0 while Carlos Tevez can be backed at 2.2.
Many expect Sergio Aguero to get a start today at least and he's available at 2.37 and worth a bet if he is going to play the full 90 minutes.
For Greece, they will be looking to Theofanis Gekas at 4.5 anytime and Dimitrios Salpigidis at 4.5 as well.
It appears as though the bookmakers don't expect a particularly high-scoring match as the over/under on goals shows the margin at 2.5 and the under option priced at 1.66. Over 2.5 goals is trading at 2.0.
I think that this one could be interesting if Argentina sit back and try not to pick up any injuries. I think the Greeks will struggle to play their traditional style against Argentina so they may want to throw caution to the wind here as only a victory will get the job done.
