Heineken Cup Finals

At the back end of last year, Johnny O'Shea took an in-depth look at the Heineken Cup and came to a couple of conclusions, i.e Toulouse and Munster represented the best bets to win the competition. Of course the Celtic champions fell by the wayside a few months ago, but Toulouse have been every bit as impressive as our Rugby expert was expecting, losing only once en route to the final. The decision that now needs to be made is whether it is worth investing in the underdogs so we can lock in a guaranteed profit. Considering it was only three weeks ago, Toulouse hammered Stade 40-19, the temptation is to let the bet ride. Furthermore, the manner in which Stade reached the final was extremely fortunate. Against Biarritz in the semi-final, they were outclassed for most of the game and only made it thanks to a miraclous late comeback - aided by a couple of atrocious decisions by the referee.
