The Heineken Cup 2006/07 runs from October 2006 through May 2007. In 2006, Munster defeated Biarritz in the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, 23-19. Despite pressure from Biarritz, Munster held on and a penalty awarded by referee Chris White against Yachvilli for being offside at the scrum ended the 2005/06 French champions' hopes of a double.
