Holland vs Mexico Betting Preview Pt 3

He is a decent shout to score first but that price is a bit short and, with so many potential matchwinners on the pitch, you might shop for a little extra value.

Arjen Robben is a very tempting 6/4 to score anytime and he is a solid 9/2 to score first or last in this one. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - who has had a very quiet tournament so far - is available at 15/8 anytime and 11/2 to score first or last in this one. Wesley Sneijder is also worth a look for sure and he’s competitive at 3/1 anytime and 17/2 to score first or last.
For Mexico, they are going to be looking to Oribe Peralta to get the job done in front of goal and he is available at 5/2 to score at any point in the match and 7/1 to open or close the scoring. Javier Hernandez might be a popular wager as well - particularly if he gets the start in this match - he is a very solid 11/4 to score anytime and he is trading at 8/1 to get the first or last goal of the fixture.
If you really expect Holland to run away with it, you’re likely wagering on Robin Van Persie to score more than just one goal and he is a very interesting 5/1 to get a brace and a lengthy 22/1 to get a hat-trick. What a story that would be.
Holland are also very interesting on the handicap with a (-1.0) handicap paying out around 13/5 while Mexico (+1.0) might be an interesting wager for some at a slim 4/5 listing. The bookmakers don’t seem to be favouring a high-scoring game and you’ll find under 2.5 goals priced at 4/6 while over 2.5 goals can be backed at an 11/10 price tag at any point right now.
