HOLLAND VS SLOVAKIA PREVIEW AND BETTING ODDS
Most people expect Holland to run away with this one and keep the run of lop-sided victories going from Sunday. I think we're likely to see a few goals in this one and that generally means that the goalscorer betting is going to be especially profitable today.
Robin Van Persie is expected to be the go-to-guy in front of goal for the Dutch side and you'll find him priced at even money with Bet365 to score anytime. The Arsenal player is priced at 4.33 to score first or last and I think he's more likely to score first than last.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is another to keep your eyes on and you'll find him available at 2.5 anytime and 6.0 first or last. Arjen Robben is trading at 3.0 should he play in this match. Dirk Kuyt's odds to score against Slovakia are available at 3.0.
Wesley Sneijder is always worth keeping your eyes on and he's at 3.5 anytime, but I find he's usually a better in-play "next to score" bet when he looks like he's getting lots of time and space on the ball.
For Slovakia, they will be looking to the tandem of Robert Vittek and Stanislav Sestak- both priced at 5.0 to score a goal at any time and 13.0 to score first or last. Marek Hamsik is priced at 6.5.
Robin Van Persie and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar are at 6.0 and 10.0 to score two goals or more while a hat-trick for either pays out at 23.0 and 51.0, respectively.
Another nice bet on Van Persie is the goalscorer match betting where Bet365 have pitted the Dutchman against Slovakia's Robert Vittek. Van Persie is priced at 2.4 to outscore his countepart, who is available at 7.0. A draw between the two goalscorers is odds-on at 1.8.
I think that Holland have everything it takes to win, but if they don't perform at 100% they can definitely lose this. I think it will be important for them to keep Holland off the scoreboard for the first 45 minutes. I would wait about 25 minutes or so before placing any substantial sums on Slovakia.
